Professional voice-overs and audio production

Since 2011, public radio listeners have heard Brett as the host of Sound Beat, a 90-second snapshot of a moment in audio history. Sound Beat features highlights from Syracuse University’s Belfer Audio Archive, one of the nation’s largest collections of recorded sound, including 22,000 wax cylinders going back to the days of Edison, and 78s spanning the early 20th century.

Kaatscast is a biweekly podcast hosted by Brett, featuring history, interviews, arts & culture, outdoor adventures, and sustainability news from New York’s Catskill mountains and Hudson Valley.
